Race numbers to be collected from Porthcawl Rugby Club absolutely no number collection from the Beach.

If you have brought children or dogs they must be at close hand.

Briefing at 6:50 at the start line.

By signing up you acknowledge that YOU MUST collect the race bib from the Rugby Club by 6:30 and no numbers will be available at the Beach.  It's approx a 1 mile jog from the rugby club to the start line.  You can drive from the Rugby Club and park at the beach carpark but please be aware that it is PAY & DISPLAY and they will book you!

Runners - General Information

• CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS 11:59pm ON TUESDAY 12th MAY 2020 - NO ENTRIES ON NIGHT. ENTRY FEE IS £5:00 WITH *******

• Your race number can be collected at Porthcawl RFC (postcode CF36 3DA) from 5:30pm until 6:30pm on the evening.

• There is limited parking at the rugby club, so lift share where possible. If parking at Rest Bay please be aware that it is PAY & DISPLAY and they will book you!

• If going to start on foot please allow enough time; route is marked and a mile away; allow 15 - 20minutes. PLEASE CROSS AT MARSHALLING POINT ON LOCKS COMMON.

• Entry Fee is £5.00 which includes ********** a drink (1⁄2 pint or soft drink) behind the bar at the rugby club post-race; where presentations to the first 3 men and women will be made.

• *********Curry or Chilli is again available post event by adding £2 to your entry fee. Please indicate at point of entry if you require food.

• The route is 2 laps clockwise and there are flags/marker posts on their right hand side at all times. Stay in order in the finish funnel.

• CLUB VESTS MUST BE WORN.

• Following its success, there will be a wave start, with clubs starting at 1 minute intervals based on end of last season overall team result order.

• There will a lead bikes, and the course will be marked out with stakes with red/white barrier tape. There will be a Welsh flag at the start & finish of the shoreline straight.

• Medical Providers are Rest Bay Lifeguards – located along the route. – Contact Run Director Lucy Jones to mobilise – 07??????????.
